DDI (Documentation Development, Inc.) was a major staffing and recruiting company specializing in permanent and temporary placement of information professionals including technical writers, trainers, and course developers.

At DDI, I managed all their contract technical writers (usually about 65) in a variety of industries, applications, and development situations ensuring that there were no problems with satisfying the client's requirements. I provided general technical documentation expertise to the company, including estimating projects, setting schedules, and administering documentation projects. I also took proactive steps to develop and present seminars and represented DDI at industry associations. As part of this, I developed and implemented new client services.
