When I initially joined Interchange, it was part of Ziff-Davis Publishing and was being developed as a means of publishing their computer magazines (PC Magazine, PC Computing, Computer Shopper, PC Week, etc.) online. AT&T New Media Services acquired the company and its Interchange Online Network, an innovative online information service system.
Interchange was a truly remarkable product, providing a user interface and features that are still not provided today on the web.
At Interchange all end-user information was provided online - no printed documentation was developed except for content developers. We created WinHelp files and on-service content.
